Just when you think you can put your feet up in front of the fire for Winter, Cornwall’s brightest event arrives! We loved taking The Shellfish Pig to Truro’s City of Lights event last November and we booked our pitch for this year immediately afterwards! We have never witnessed a more vibrant, happy atmosphere in Truro than at this event and we are delighted to be serving our tasty Cornish streetfood from KING STREET this year. It’s also busy, very busy so pick your spot carefully and allow time to come and say hello to us! To whet your appetite we will have the following dishes freshly prepared, locally sourced and delicious: Slow Cooked Primrose Herd Pork, Chorizo and Pig Cheek Chill served Piled High on Turmeric Rice and Topped with Cheddar Cheese and Sour Cream. It’s warming, filling and if you haven’t tried slow braised pig cheek before you are in for a REAL treat! Smoked Primrose Herd Pork Shoulder, Pulled and in our Cornish Cider & Maple Glaze. Served in a Baker Tom Brioche Roll with Emmental Cheese, Sweet Pickle and Garlic-Pepper Crackling! Made with love it’s our star dish and after selling out last year we will be bringing extra this time! Line Caught Smoked Haddock & Chorizo Chowder.
